Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the turnaround time on the claims you submit? - As long as chart notes are completed, I will submit claims at the end of your work week (so if you only work T-TH I’ll submit Friday when all notes are done). I can submit daily if you’d like, but chart notes will need to be completed. 

  • What is your turnaround time for addressing questions or resolving claim issues? - I try to reserve my mornings (7-9am) to claims calls and troubleshooting, so ideally I will have a reasoning or answer within the week but the result may not catch up on the insurance end for another week or so. Insurances are just slow. 

  • What billing software or platform do you use? - I would bill through your EHR, all of the insurance companies I work with require claims be submitted electronically. So I will need access to your EHR and insurance provider portals to upload remittences. 

  • Do you have a team, or are you a solo biller? - I am a solo work from home mama. I do it all and still manage to make dinner each night ha.

  • Do you require a long-term contract, or is it month-to-month? What are the terms for cancellation? - I require a year long contract to start and 30 days notice for cancellations.
